Heat-resistant steel is intended for components operating at elevated temperatures, in hot gases and combustion products. We select the grade and product form to match the thermal conditions of your project.
Material selection
Grade matched to
temperature and working atmosphere.
Heat-resistant steel is used where the component must retain durability while operating at high temperatures, in hot gases or combustion products. Material selection depends on actual operating conditions.
Temperature alone is not sufficient to select a grade. Also significant are the working atmosphere, the presence of oxidising or sulphurous gases, the heating and cooling cycle, and the component load.
